CHILDREN

Our church children's ministry oversees the teaching of our young members from nursery up to 5th grade. ​
  • They meet for Sunday School at 9:30 AM. 
  • We have Children's Church during worship, where the children are dismissed after the offering.
  • On the 3rd Sunday of the month, children stay with their family and help collect the Kids' Power Offering, which supports CCCU Missions.

HOPE STRONG for Walnut Elementary
  • 5th Graders: 12:40 - 1:30; Wednesdays, March 4-May 13, 2026
  • 2nd Graders: 11:00 -11:50; Wednesdays, April 8 - May 13, 2026

HopeStrong Released Time Bible Education (RTBE) is a nondenominational Bible education class offered at no cost to students. Volunteers from area churches work together to present solid Bible education classes to students. Bible classes are offered during the school day with parent/guardian consent, are located off school property, and are funded by the local community. Students are released to leave school for approximately one hour, one day a week. Classes are offered during noninstructional times in the school day. Transportation is provided by HopeStrong (vans or buses) to the HopeStrong Vikings-Walnut site at 15495 Winchester Road. Trained volunteers accompany students from the school building to the HopeStrong site for Bible class. Volunteers go through an extensive approval and training process, have background checks, and are committed to ensuring child welfare and safety during program times.

YOUTH

6th - 12th Grade are invited to join together in the Youth room for Sunday School every Sundays at 9:30 AM

We also have occasional special events for our Youth that will be posted here in a timely manner.

We encourage our Youth to participate in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes associated with their school.
  • For Teays Valley Middle School East students, they meet from 2:30-3:15 pm every Tuesday in room 406.
  • For Teays Valley High School students, they meet from 7-9 pm at 8217 Hagerty Rd, Ashville, Ohio
