Hedges Chapel values your health and wellbeing. In consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic, church leadership created the following policies and procedures for in-person worship at Hedges Chapel.
For your safety, the following actions are being taken:
The Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m. We fully understand if you have reservations about attending, such as you are at a higher risk.
If you are feeling sick, please stay home and worship with us on Facebook (Sunday’s Service is streamed live at 10:30; the recorded session is posted afterwards on Facebook to view later).
For in-person service, arrive a few minutes early and please follow the greeters’ and ushers’ instructions. They are here to help keep us all safe.
Masks/Face Coverings are highly encouraged (and may be REQUIRED depending on situation). Free masks are available for you (cloth ones or disposable ones).
Social Distancing: Respect others and maintain six feet physical distance between others.
- Children stay with parents through Service. The nursery is not staffed; parents may use it to tend to their child’s urgent needs and should sanitized after use.
- Only do “virtual” hugs and handshakes.
- Please do not congregate inside the building after the service and exit the building when dismissed.
Place your Tithes & Offerings in the plates at the rear of the sanctuary. You may also use the online Giving tab above and make a donation online.
Please note that the church is sanitized weekly.
Remember to wash your hands and use hand sanitizer.
